Tanzania Veterinary Association (TVA) in collaboration with the regional Commonwealth Veterinary Association (CVA) invites the submission of scientific abstracts for the 42ND TVA International Scientific Conference which will be held at Ngurdoto Mountain Lodge, Usa River-Arusha from 3rd to 5th December, 2024.
THEME: Eradicating Livestock Diseases to Enhance Productivity and Facilitate Domestic and International Trade of Livestock and Livestock Products.
Sub-themes:
1. Livestock Extension Services Enhancement and Coordination, Disease Prevention, Public- Private Partnerships and International Collaboration
2. Livestock Production, Ecosystem Health, Tailored Climate change resilience, and adaptation
3. Veterinary Public Health, Animal Health, and Welfare

Conference Registration Fee Categories:
1. Tanzanian and East African citizens=TZS 200,000/=; 2. Tanzanian Retirees= TZS 150,000/=
3. Other Nationalities= 375,000 TZS (Approx $150)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Conference participants will enjoy exclusive discounted rates for accommodation, transport and entertainment as follows:
Accommodation: Deluxe rooms for 70,000 TZS per night and Executive cottage for 110,000 TZS per night
Transport: Airport pick up for group of up to 6 persons with Alphard car for 100,000 TZS, Small car for less than 6 people for 70,000 TZS, Large group of up to 25 persons for 150,000/= and 200,000 TZS for a round trip from Ngurdoto to Arusha City Centre and back to Ngurdoto for a group of 25 to 30 persons Transport costs is charged per trip not per person.
Entertainment: All drinks are offered at regular prices (non-tourist rates) at Ngurdoto Bar with a Live Music Band. Sports facilities for kids and conference participants are available including access to swimming pool.
